impedition to cooking.

Cooking takes a really long time. Too long.

1) Walk in the Cold to Willy's, where everything is cheaper (see, mummy. I scrimp.) but it's fucking far. Like a 20min walk.

2) Search food for the cheapest per kg and then purchase it even though you think it'd suck.

3) Walk back in the Cold or wait 20 mins for the bus.

4) Get back and try to warm yourself under the covers. This takes about 10 minutes.

5) The Big Hoo-Ha begins. Boiling water, using the oven, oil, frying, everything. And all in the midst of different people telling you different instructions to not get the things burnt and to get the flavours but somehow everything still gets burnt and tastes notsopleasant.

6) Throw away burnt or gross food.

7) Start cooking something simpler.

8) By this time, you are already starvinggg. And anything horrible still tastes really good and I'm always thankful for the food.

9) Start eating. This takes like 1/20 of the time spent in the whole affair of cooking.

10) Eating always ends too early. Because you have to wash up.

11) Soap.

12) Rinse.

13) Dry.

Then, its over.

Busy yourself for about 3 hours and the whole affair starts again.

This is why I have no time to blog.

It is no surprise that I don't cook because it is such a hassle. And it doesn't help that everybody around me cooks so damn well. Syida, Dan, Jamie O'xavier.

Plus, my favourite Italian cooks for me all the time.

Play Count = 47.

IF I STAND - JARS OF CLAY

There's more that rises in the morning than the sun
And more that shines in the night than just the moon
There's more than just this fire here that keeps me warm
In a shelter that is larger than this room

And there's a loyalty that's deeper than mere sentiments
And a music higher than the songs that I can sing
Stuff of Earth competes for the allegiance
I owe only to the Giver of all good things

So if I stand let me stand on the promise that you will pull me through
And if I can't, let me fall on the grace that first brought me to You
So if I sing let me sing for the joy that has born in me these songs
And if I weep let it be as a man who is longing for his home

And there's more that dances on the prairies than the wind
And more that pulses in the ocean than the tide
There's a love that's fiercer than the love between friends
More gentle than a mother's when her baby's at her side

And there's a loyalty that's deeper than mere sentiments
And a music higher than the songs that I can sing
The stuff of Earth competes for the allegence
I owe only to the Giver of all good things

So if I stand let me stand on the promise that You will pull me through
And if I can't let me fall on the grace that first brought me to You
And if I sing let me sing for the joy that has born in me these songs
And if I weep let it be as a man who is longing for his home

So if I stand let me stand on the promise You will pull me through
And if I can't let me fall on the grace that first brought me to You
And if I sing let me sing for the joy that has born in me these songs
And if I weep let it be as a man who is longing for his home

And if I weep let it be as a man who is longing for home

How Long Do You Toast Bread in the Oven?

Every night it has just been partying partying partying for the whole week.

Too lazy to take pictures so you have to wait for pictures from other friends on facebook.

I semi-cook now.

And I sleep ALOT. Must be the weather.

I have so many things to do but have been so caught up with all the parties I rarely get anything done. I hope things settle down soon and I can start updating and getting my trip together to update you ok?

Meanwhile. As much as I love partying here, I miss partying MORE with you zhiwei, ziqiang, kian giap, qixiang, zhenming, sunwukong, alvin lim, angela, virginia, sandy, yikying, alvin yeo, ansel, geoffrey and all the other people whom I forgot!

And, did kiangiap shave his head?

Ok la. Leave you one picture here from the first night in Jonkoping where I met this Italian boy and two dutch boys before I even unpacked.  And we decided to party on a whim. A Saturday night, you can't expect to be packing.

Okay I'm gonna explore the other side of the River now! BYE!
